Mastering the Call to Action

Digital Advertising in Ellenbrook means nothing if you have no idea the best ways to use your Call to Actions or (CTA's), because a Call to action may be the easiest way for you to generate a lead. It can make or break relying on how weak or strong your CTA is, therefore I really want to give you a few tips to make sure that you are doing the best you can to grow your brand and generate those critical leads.

Wording

Really basic, stay clear from common words that are going to make you seem desperate or like you are pushing for a sale. For example, selecting between the words, 'buy' and 'shop' as a CTA, one might assume that they each mean the same thing. But you will have to understand that many people on the net often tend to avoid commitment, and so subconsciously even there is a tendency for the general public to think that the term 'buy' is locking them into something, while 'shop' is a way for them to learn more details. The issue I am trying to make is that you really should think about the wording and avoid words that have unplanned effects.

Shape and Colour

It may seem unusual, but Shape and colour of your CTA can affect its success. In the world of Digital Advertising there have been a number of investigations into the notion of style and its affect upon a customer's perception, and essentially one theory claims that curves are the most effective way to go. So, if you want to try and optimise even more, think about making the button for your call to action curved, rather than a square.

Now, colour, this is a different area that there are a few theories on. Some people would have you think that green is wonderful because it means 'go', but to keep away from red because it is 'stop', or that blue is calming so it should make customers more relaxed ... Ultimately there really isn't any clear evidence to suggest one option over any other, so just choose what works best for your design. One thing that I will touch on though is that you should take note of the font size and colour-- If you want your digital advertising to be most effective in the Ellenbrook area, it is a smart idea to try and make it different from the rest of your content, but don't go too ridiculous.

Location

Where your call to action is set is quite crucial to digital advertising success.

All that I mean by this is see to it that you don't have it tucked away in a corner somewhere, or that you have way too much text that is complicating the Call to action.

In the long run it all comes down to identifying the combination that helps you, remember your wording, shape, colour, size and positioning of your brand's Call To Action, and when you bring all the components together just think easy and think about your consumer.

Boosting your Online Sales with good CTA's.
